Handmade Murano Glass & Swarovski Crystal Jewelry
Handmade and one-of-a-kind Murano Glass and Swarovski Crystal jewelry!
Kathy Klawans is a Carmel-by-the-Sea native and a practicing landscape architect. On a visit to Italy she fell in love with the Murano Glass she saw in Venice and the sparkling Swarovski Crystal she saw in Prague.
Back home in her own paradise she started searching for the simple pieces she saw and couldn’t find them anywhere. So she started making her own jewelry using both Murano and Swarovski. She uses glass micro beads which give necklaces the appearance of being strung on very delicate sparkling chain. Even though the necklaces are all glass they are very sturdy as they’re strung on 49-strand bead wire and include wire guards at the jewelry's stress points.
She creates dramatic one-of-a-kind and limited edition genuine Murano, Venetian, and Swarovski jewelry. Her jewelry is so versatile it can be dressed up or dressed down. It’s beautiful adorning a bride or perfectly comfortable accompanying your most comfortable jeans.
